The college has a Counselling Cell catering to girl students and women staff members. The cell named Sahachari meaning companion is run by Smt Diya Sengupta, Assistant Professor in Education. The cell is open every Monday for consultations and advice. For cases which require advanced counselling or treatment, they are referred to experts in the field.

The IQAC of the college organised a workshop entitled, “Embrace your Mind, Embrace your Life” on 6/10/23 with Nilanjana C Chakraborty, an independent practitioner and a consultant Psychologist. The Department of Education also organised a 30 hour Add on Course in Mental Health and Counselling from 28/04/2023 to 15/05/2023.
