The college believes and stands for renewable energy resource utilisation. Solar Energy is one of the most cost effective and sustainable energy resources, Solar lighting in the college is a cost-effective and easiest solution for many outdoor lighting needs. This has made possible for college campus to reduce electricity bills through these energy efficient sustainable lighting systems.

In order to minimize the carbon footprint of the college and become an environmentally conscious academic institute, the college has installed solar lights in its premises as a sustainable replacement for traditional street lights. These solar lights are an addition to the sustainable initiatives in college with the motto of making campus green. This is the first baby step that our college has taken towards capitalizing renewable energy for a sustainable tomorrow. Solar lighting is pollution free and does not emit any kind of harmful gases in the environment which makes it a worthy option to install. After sunset the external lighting of the building is supplied by solar power.

The college has also organized an International Webinar to raise awareness about solar energy research initiatives world-wide. To raise awareness about renewable energy resources the college has display boards within the campus.
